Jenny Brian

Research Assistant, Consortium for Science, Policy & Outcomes

 

Jenny Dyck Brian is a graduate student in the Bioethics, Policy, and Law program at the Center for Biology & Society, at the School of Life Sciences.  She comes to ASU from her position as a Research Associate in the Program of Biology, Ethics, and the Politics of Human Reproduction at Wellesley College, in Wellesley, MA.   Before that, Jenny worked as a Research Assistant in the Departments of Bioethics and Philosophy at Dalhousie University.  She graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2003, where she received her B.A. (Hons) in Philosophy with a Minor in Ethics. 

 

Currently, Jenny is working on CSPO's Human Biotechnologies Scenario Project, a project to design and develop plausible trajectories of science and technology development, which will be used to assess and resolve social, ethical, and political issues in a proactive manner.  Her other research interests include: the intersection of science, politics, and ethics; global health and global justice; and the commercialization of scientific research.
